The box says Nikon D3100 18-55 Vr kit, aha all just numbers and letters to me, but i’m trying to learn. A good model?
So my sister bought me a camera for my birthday/christmas (the perils of being born so close to a holiday) and i haven’t really used it properly because:
a.) if i’m really honest i don’t know how to use it (but i’ve started googling how tos and might borrow a book or something)
b.) i didn’t want to seem like one of those people who get a camera and then suddenly thinks they’re a hot shot photographer or something by taking photos of ‘deep’ things like i dunno (but i then i realised this is actually the most stupid reason in life not to actually use it. Firstly so what? Reminds me of the fact that this week one of my friends asked me why I cared so much about what other people think…but that’s a thing for another day)
Anyway going through incredible works by people from streetetiquette and rogwalker made me want to whip my camera out (SIDENOTE: not saying that i could ever ever be on their wavelength, but i know some pretty cool people and there are moments that just need to be captured permanently and remembered you know?) Anyway. yeah.
Oh advice and stuff would be helpful, but no one really talks to me on tumblr lol
